PusaranNews.id, Lampung Barat – Pemerintah kabupaten Lampung Barat saat ini sedang melakukan pembangunan gedung perpustakaan dua tingkat yang bertempat di komplek pemda, kelurahan Way Mengaku, kecamatan Balikbukit.
Akan tetapi, pembangunan gedung bernilai Sembilan Miliar tersebut diduga melanggar aturan.
Yang mana pekerja gedung tersebut tidak menggunakan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) serta tidak menerapkan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) yang sangat membahayakan pekerja.
APD merupakan kelengkapan yang wajib digunakan saat bekerja sesuai bahaya dan resiko kerja untuk menjaga keselamatan pekerja dan orang disekelilingnya.
Dasar hukum penggunaan APD induk dari peraturan perundang-undangan K3 adalah Undang-Undang No.1 Tahun 1970 tentang Keselamatan Kerja.
Yang mana dalam UU tersebut di bab 3 tentang syarat-syarat keselamatan kerja pasal 3 ayat 1 butiran f. Memberikan alat-alat pelindung diri pada para pekerja, akan tetapi pembangunan proyek gedung perpustakaan tersebut diduga tidak menerapkan aturan tersebut.
Yang diatur oleh Undang-undang ini ialah keselamatan kerja dalam segala tempat kerja, baik di darat, di dalam tanah, di permukaan air, di dalam air maupun di udara, yang berada di dalam wilayah kekuasaan hukum Republik Indonesia.
Selaku Konsultan Pengawas Imelda, mengatakan, bahwa dirinya tidak mengetahui terkait adanya pekerja yang tidak menerapkan Standar Operating Procedure (SOP).
“Memang bandel mereka ini, karena kemarin sudah saya sampaikan agar mereka selalu menggunakan seat belt (Sabuk Pengaman),” kata dia, Rabu (17/7).
Dirinya mengakui bahwa hal tersebut merupakan kesalahan dalam bekerja dan ia juga menyarankan untuk melaporkan hal tersebut kepada pihak Kontraktor.
“Sebab setiap pagi harinya kami selalu melakukan briefing dengan para pekerja agar mengedepankan keselamatan dengan menggunakan APD,” jelasnya.
“Dan ini murni kesalahan jadi silahkan hubungi kontraktor aja dan foto tersebut merupakan kejadian kemarin dan sudah saya berikan surat teguran kepada pekerja tersebut,” sambungnya.
Dikonfirmasi terpisah pihak rekanan yang mengerjakan proyek pembangunan gedung perpustakaan tersebut tidak dapat memberikan jawaban saat dihubungi. (*)
